The Texas Veterans Commission assists Veterans through the employment process. Employment services include: Intensive Services, converting military occupations to civilian occupations for resume and job search, job matching and referrals, resume assistance, employer outreach, job search workshops, vocational guidance, labor market information, referrals to training, and other supportive services. The Veterans One Stop provides a computer lab with four computers for veterans to use for job searches and resume building. For an appointment call 254-297-7171 ext. 4117.

Kenneth Nowak
Kenneth was selected as a Veterans Career Advisor on June 4, 2014. Since being assigned to the Veterans One Stop in Waco, Kenneth has assisted numerous veterans with their employment needs. He has been very active in community outreach to veterans and served as a stakeholder at the Veterans One Stop.
He retired as a Sergeant First Class from the U.S. Army in April 2013 after 23 years of active service (1990-2013). During this time Kenneth Nowak served as an infantryman in the 82nd Airborne Division and the 2nd Armored Division. After serving as an infantryman for five years Kenneth changed his occupation to a Logistician, where he served at Fort Campbell, Fort Eustis, and Fort Bragg, NC. Sergeant First Class Nowak was then DA selected as a recruiter and finished his last five years of service as a Station Commander.
Kenneth Nowak Graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Trident University, Cypress, CA.
